Healthy Minds, Happy Kids Community Resource Fair
October 23, 2010
Smart Start-Centre County was pleased to receive a grant for $17,500 from the Office of Child Development and Early Learning which funded the following projects. The overall purpose of the grant was to work with Title I schools towards developing a county-wide transition to Kindergarten plan.

Smart Start-Centre County was pleased to organize a successful fifth annual Community Reading Project during April 2010 for promotion of early literacy and the PA Library Association’s “One Book, Every Young Child” program.

Countdown to Kindergarten
Smart Start-Centre County was pleased to organize a successful third annual event Saturday, March 13 promoting good transition to Kindergarten for Centre County’s young children and their families.
